The world has a way of sharpening our edges if you let it. Like glass, we can be broken, our edges sharp. If we allow that very same world to happen as it should, we often find our edges eventually become rounded, that sharpness is slowly but surely softened. Sea glass for us is the perfect example. When a glass is broken, the edges can cut, can cause pain. But when mixed with the ocean, in the constant turbulence of the waves, the edges become rounded, the edges are softened.
